Resource Reclamation, LLC. (RR) recovers metals, plastics and other recyclable commodities from auto shredder residue (ASR). RR operates at landfill sites, monofill landfill sites and at free standing plants that are located in logistically strategic areas of ASR flow being moved for disposal. Services include the processing, mining and reclamation of recoverable metals, plastics and other commodities from the ASR waste stream. RR’s suppliers include scrap shredder operators, landfill operators taking in ASR and property owners with ASR monofills. Customers include plastics and metals plants purchasing scrap materials for remelting or recycling. RR’s main supply material has either already been landfilled or is on the way to a landfill and it is “mined” to further remove metals and plastics. RR is in the process of introducing multiple strategically located plants to capture existing flows of materials into landfills, as well as to “mine” existing monofill sites and piles. RR has positioned itself on the cutting edge with constant R&D into better ways to process ASR with low to very low recyclables content. Significant technology investments allow RR to process high volumes of materials that would not be economical to recover on a smaller scale at a shredder generation site.
